After 15 years of David and I saying that in 2010 we would be going to Europe, it is really hard to believe that our Europe 2010 dream has finally arrived!!! There has been lots of planning, lots of phone calls to our friends the Jolly's in Birchip who we are travelling with for various parts of the trip, lots of hoping that the accommodation on the internet is half as good in real life and a lot of checking out trip advisor, google earth and accommodation sites, it has been a great lesson in geography for me!! Melanie said recently something along the lines of "I wish you would just get off the bloody internet organising this trip Mum and just go!!! I now feel the same way! And of course as our wise friend Sharon in Bendigo advised me, "A GPS is a lot cheaper than a divorce Moira", so thank you Harrimans for the loan of the GPS for the trip. I just hope it speaks Italian!!!! Thanks to everyone for the phone calls, texts and facebook messages wishing us luck, thanks to Brenda and Maureen for the bon voyage morning tea yesterday, and a special thanks to Mrs. Papamanolis for her expert lesson on how to set up a blog..........
